OUR EPIC LOVE STORY

Once upon a time in a far-away land called Scottsdale, there once lived two four-year-old children. Every day, each child was dropped off at Sunrise Preschool, located at Thunderbird and Tatum. While they didn’t know it at the time, they would get married 32 years later in the same town!

Jeff and Kathleen both grew up in Scottsdale and have known each other practically their entire lives. While they weren’t that close growing up, Kathleen and her brother, Pat, did live between two of Jeff’s best friends, so they would often see each other throughout elementary school, middle school and high school.

​

As fate often has it, they went their separate ways, and went on to live their lives. Fast forward 18+ years later, and these two kindred spirits were reunited in the electronic age, by a friend named “Bumble”.  Jeff and Kathleen started their first date at a local brewery where they immediately hit it off. They decided to continue the date at dinner and drove to a local Thai restaurant and randomly sat behind a few of Jeff’s friends (Ryan and Julia). At first, Kathleen jokingly thought that Jeff had invited them to the restaurant on purpose, so he could have someone spy on their date. At dinner, they were laughing so much that Kathleen kept throwing her head back in laughter and accidentally hitting Ryan in the back of the head! :)

Since Kathleen and Jeff were both new to the single/dating scene, and neither was looking for a serious relationship, neither could deny the chemistry between them. As they say in fairy tales, and the rest was history!

​

Jeff and Kathleen have a million things in common and one desire is to explore the world together. Their lives revolve around their beautiful daughters, Gianna and Gabriella, and helping the girls grow personally as well as culturally.

​

Whether it’s hanging out with family and friends, scuba diving in Belize, or glacier trekking in Argentina – they always make it a point to ensure that the time and experience is genuine and epic! 

​

We can’t wait for our Epic Life together, and we feel so blessed that you’re able to be a part of our it!
